What can Teachers Do in a School Shooting? Shoot Back!

Butler County, Ohio Sheriff Richard Jones says it's time to do something about school shootings.  And, of course, so does everybody else on the planet. The only thing is that this guy wants the bullets to be flying back toward the low-life shooter.  Everybody else wants to take away, regulate, lock up, and/or make it harder to get to a gun when it's needed.  In short, his response to school shooters is to shoot back! In order for this to happen, the “gun-free school zone” laws will have to be changed, or the faculty in the schools will have to acquire law-enforcement status.

Butler also offered free firearms training classes to teachers, as well as training to deal with active shooters. Here's a video of the Sheriff talking about his plan.  He also wants us to take a hard look at fire drills, which the shooter in the Lakeland mass murder counted on to help him with a full kill zone.  He pulled the fire alarm and just let his victims come to him.  The Sheriff, who received a lot of strong responses, from opposite perspectives, issued a video, which can be seen at the link below.

CSPOA has issued a press release where we agree with Sheriff Jones' plan, and we go a step further.
