Sheriff Posse Intel: Warning to America- One Flu Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

In Florida and other places it seems the law enforcement is working with corrupt people to use mental health laws to put well-to-do elderly under involuntary guardianship. The statute seemingly written to protect he incapaciated from exploitation and abuse is used, in Florida, to exploit and abuse. Families who are trying to take care of their injured or declining family member are abused by the courts as well.

(This is all just a rant, not really related: Reprobate court has no interest in the recovery of people put under guardianship. They take money from families that could be better used to get treatment for their incapaciated family member. For example, the court will be charging our daughter or us for $875, the cost of sending three “examiners” to determine that our daughter (who was then in a coma) is/was incapaciated; there were stacks of medical records they could have looked at. They even sent a sheriff officer to read our daughter her rights, even though she was still in a disorder of consciousness equivalent to coma. The probate court had a video hearing; their documents were riddled with errors which they would not correct. The “guardian attorney” was not at all helpful, but just waiting for his standard $1,500 payout plus $400/hour… When I asked questions, his secretary/paralegal told me to “google it.” — The costs of caring for a loved one include wheelchair van to take the person to therapy appointments, the cost of therapies such as HBOT, speech, physical, briefs (adult diapers), chucks (to put under disabled people in wheelchair and bed), and hours and hours 24/7 of proividing care. So far, over the past 14 months, we’ve probably spent close to $100,000 of our retirement savings. The idea is the incapaciated will get a settlement, and the predator court wants to feast on that. The statute requires guardians to take a class for $150 each, the intent being to help us know how to navigate all this; but the class the court requires guardians to take at a local university; it was a video of a class that was not very helpful at all. It did hammer in the point that guardians would be in trouble if they used settlement money in a way the court disagreed with; they told us a man was put in prison for taking $70,000 of his son’s money; but they did not give any context except to say that the father was not repentent. He probably tried to reimburse himself so he could afford to go on. It would have been better to just sell us a video or book that did not waste our time and actually provided needed information. I tried to find out what happens to people who have no family or friends; nobody will tell us. Family and friend guardians should be ASKED to take care of their family and friends, rather than be put in position of lackey of a court for the duration of their loved-one’s life. It should be as simple as getting married to become a guardian of a family member. The court is corrupt while pretending most families are corrupt.”
