In response to the death of George Floyd while in police custody and the subsequent violent protests, retired Sheriff and CSPOA President Richard Mack speaks out against violence by the police officers as well as the protestors. He cites Martin Luther King who spoke against violence and said “Hate cannot drive out hate” and “violence multiplies violence.” Sheriff Mack also says, any group that advocates for violence deserves the designation of a terrorist group.
