(by Rick Dalton on Aug 17, 2015) When an Idaho veteran recently was faced with a federal bureaucracy that threatened to violate his Fourth and Second Amendment rights, he was fortunate to have a Constitutional Sheriff, and a state legislator who came to his aid and stood between him and the Veteran’s Administration who was going to take his guns away.
Sheriff Wheeler Bonner County Sheriff Daryl Wheeler, Idaho State Representative Heather Scott, and Washington State Rep. Matt Shea announced that the VA would have to “come through us” if they wanted to violate the vet’s rights. Here’s the link to the story, in a video made live on the day the VA was to arrive.
