Clarke Jr., CSPOA Sheriff of the Year in 2013, is not afraid to say what needs to be said about ending the lawlessness, death and destruction in Baltimore, Maryland. According to Fox News, “Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke lashed out (video above) at Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake as the chaos unfolded Monday night. Clarke called out a lack of leadership by Rawlings-Blake, with Sean Hannity wondering why the city seemed to be unprepared for the riots to worsen after protests already took place Saturday night. ”

This violence and lawlessness is the result of decades of progressive policies in Baltimore, which, unlike Ferguson, MO, has a black city council, black mayor, black Police commissioner, and a 50% black police department.

The breakup of the family unit is partially to blame here in Baltimore, as it is in many cities across America. High school kids left school and en masse attacked the police with bricks, bottles, and other dangerous objects. They ransacked stores, destroying many of them by damage and fire.

CSPOA calls for strong leadership and decisive actions to stop the violence quickly. Order must be restored. “There has been a rush to judgement before all the facts are in concerning the death of a man in po9lice custody last week” said Rick Dalton, CSPOA Executive Vice President. “We only today heard a report that the subject was attempting to hurt himself inside the police van”, said Dalton. If this is true, there is a lot of explaining to do.
