The CSPOA is concerned about the widespread abuse of a law originally meant to help take the profit from the drug cartels and other organized crime.  But it has become a nightmare for many average Americans who have been ensnared in its tentacles.  This monster is “civil asset forfeiture”.  The terrible injustices carried out in the name of asset forfeiture will make you cringe. It is only made a little easier to stomach because of the humor which is used to make the case.  It's about seventeen minutes long and is very enlightening.  After you watch it, please contact your governor, local police officials, and the federal Department of Justice, and urge them all to get rid of this terrible blemish on law enforcement.
