Florida Sheriff defends Constituents’ Right to Self Defense
(by Rick Dalton Oct 27, 2015) It was a hearing last week on “open carry” in Florida, and Sheriff Gordon Smith of Bradford County was clear and concise in his testimony. He supports open carry. Former Florida State Director for CSPOA, Kevin Blake, said,
“We applaud Sheriff Smith’s courageous and legally strong position. The people who he serves should be grateful for his leadership and willingness to take criticism for doing the right and the Constitutional thing. He joins Sheriff Nick Finch of Liberty County and other good sheriffs, peace officers and elected officials in Florida in living up to their oaths.”
