The 2021 CSPOA Year In Review

This was a historic year for America and the Constitutional
Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association!

As media-fueled paranoia surrounding Covid-19 has continued to swell…

Politicians nationwide have abused and terrorized us in ways unparalleled to anything in our nation’s history, all in the name of “taking care of us”.

In the search for peaceful solutions, many of “We The People” discovered the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.

In response, Sheriff Mack and the CSPOA zig-zagged across the USA several times during the course of the year!

Some highlights include:

• A major CSPOA convention outside of Houston, Texas (making a total of TEN events in Texas)
• A 3-month-long nationwide bus tour with rallies in approximately 35 locations in at least 20 states
• Four huge events at Mount Rushmore in Rapid City, South Dakota
• An event with Sheriff Bob Songer in Washington State
• A meeting with Front Line Doctors in Beverly Hills as Sheriff Mack accepted a position on their Board of Directors
• All in all, Sheriff Mack attended 72 rallies, events or training seminars.  He visited 27 states and traveled something like 100,000 miles by plane, bus and car.
• CSPOA vice president Rick Dalton attended many of the same events as Sheriff Mack, plus at least 10 events while Sheriff Mack was at other events.
• In addition, Sheriff Mack did an average of 6 radio, TV or internet interviews per week throughout the year.

We’ve posted the whole itinerary below, but first we’d like to talk a bit about who we are and what we do.

The CSPOA Is Not A Large Organization!

It consists of:

Sheriff Richard Mack (Founder & President): Does the majority of the traveling, speaking and interviews

Dawn Mack (Sheriff Mack’s wife): Handles book sales at many events and does fulfillment for the web store along with several family members and friends

Tonya Benson (National Director of Administration): Handles event scheduling, travel arrangements, and a bunch of other administrative functions.  She is the force behind the scenes that really keeps us going!

A few other part-time workers: We’ve got a part-time marketing guy, a part-time web staff, a part-time video guy/writer/editor, a part-time interview scheduler and a guy who works in the background doing a lot of fundraising.

That’s it for paid staff!

The CSPOA Is Primarily An Education Organization.

We provide training and resources to law enforcement, public officials and concerned citizens.

We speak out in an effort to preserve this great nation as a place of liberty, peace and prosperity.

We uphold the values held by our Founding Fathers and infused within our great Constitution.  We seek to remind people of the important checks and balances provided therein, which are so essential in preventing government overreach and tyranny with which the Founders were all too familiar.

• Much of the training we provide is free or at a reduced cost for law enforcement or public officials.  We are sponsored by local organizations or by donations.
• Your financial support doesn’t go into the pockets of a huge bureaucracy.  It goes directly into the training of law enforcement officers nationwide!
• Your involvement is crucial. It’s a big country!  We can’t be everywhere all the time, and shouldn’t need to be.  The power of this country is in the hands of the people and it falls upon each of us to convey this message to others within our circles of influence.
• CSPOA relies heavily on donations and sales to fund our training efforts.

The problems we now face as a nation will not be solved in Washington. They will be solved only by good people of conscience uniting to resist overreach at the local level.

At its heart, this is what the Constitutional Sheriff movement is all about.

There has been a steady progression for many years of assigning greater and greater power and significance to the role of U.S. President.

This is definitely not what the Founders intended!

The whole point of our system of government is to prevent too much power from being concentrated in any one place!  As Jefferson once wrote,

“Whenever all government, domestic and foreign, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated.”

Justice Antonin Scalia stated this principle in another way in his opinion in the landmark Mack/Printz vs U.S. Supreme Court case:

“Just as the separation and independence of the coordinate branches of the Federal Government serve to prevent the accumulation of excessive power in any one branch, a healthy balance of power between the States and the Federal Government will reduce the risk of tyranny and abuse from either front.”

The Power. Must. Remain. With. The People!

You Can Support This Mission In 2022 By Joining The CSPOA Posse!

CSPOA frequently gets requests from the public such as…

• Will you contact my sheriff and find out whether he or she is constitutional?
• Will you invite my sheriff to one of your training sessions?
• Can you tell me if my sheriff is a member of CSPOA?

There are over 3000 sheriffs nationwide, and try as we might to be kind about it, we do not have the funding or the manpower to do that for everyone, and that’s not who we are anyway.

Our response to these inquiries should be obvious by now:

• Will YOU contact your sheriff and find out whether he or she is constitutional?
• Will YOU invite or sponsor your sheriff to one of our training sessions?
• Will YOU ask your sheriff if he or she is a member of CSPOA?
• Will YOU ask your sheriff to help form a posse?

The Federal Government will not protect you. The CSPOA cannot protect you.

But what we can do is provide education and support to help us all protect each other at the local level.

We provide tools to help encourage your sheriffs to stand in the gap for you.

And guess what?

It’s working!

As we’ve traveled and seen conditions across the land this year, one thing is clear: we (as in, all of us together) are making a difference! 

More sheriffs and law enforcement officers are keeping their oaths.  More public officials are standing up.

People are uniting to do what must be done to take this country back, one sheriff at a time!

Texas Sheriffs Are On Fire!

You Can Support This Mission In 2022 By Joining The CSPOA Posse!

Montgomery County Sheriff Rand Henderson acted as host for this event. A combined total of fifty-five law enforcement officers and public officials were there, including 27 sheriffs and chief deputies from Texas and 11 sheriffs from out of state (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Virginia, Iowa, North Dakota, Nevada). The spirit of Texas independence was alive in that convention hall and the reviews from the sheriff attendees were stellar.

We went back to Texas two other times last year for a total of nine additional training seminars. Six of these happened in one week in October where we were in a different town every day. We crossed Texas like crazy and thank God that CSPOA Life Member, Gary Heavin, flew us to each town in his private jet. Many others stepped up to make this miracle happen as well. By the end of the year, we had 75 Texas sheriffs and chief deputies trained and close to 250 Texas sheriff/LEOs and elected officials trained. All of those trained in Texas received continuing education credits.

“I was invited to the CSPOA convention at The Woodlands. I looked up the CSPOA on the internet. I found some very negative comments about Sheriff Mack and the CSPOA. I can honestly say that it was the best training I have ever been to and I learned that all the crap on the web about Mack and the CSPOA was just that; crap! I am now a Constitutional Sheriff and I will stand behind Mack any time and any place.”

We have so much more to do and 2022 is shaping up to be another monumental year of growth and progress!

This is our time to take back our country and restore Civil Rights and our Constitution.

We now have hundreds of sheriffs, peace officers and other public officials at the local level who will stand together with the people in the Holy Cause of Liberty.

With your support, these numbers will continue to grow.
