The following sheriffs, state sheriff’s associations, and police chiefs have vowed to uphold and defend the Constitution against Obama’s unconstitutional gun control measures. We applaud these public servants for their courage and conviction.
The remarkable thing about what these brave men and women are doing is that nobody told them to do it. Neither the CSPOA nor any other organization that we are aware of contacted sheriffs across the nation and asked them to make statements; this is something sheriffs did on their own, or because their constituents requested it of them. Soon, people started submitting letters and links to us, and it was such a remarkable thing that we started to collect all the names and list them together. Then the miracle happened: Other sheriffs across the nation have been inspired by the courage of those who stood first. Now we see the power of standing, even if you fear you may stand alone.
NOW, powered by the gaining momentum of this movement, the CSPOA has joined with other like-minded organizations in a largely volunteer effort to contact all the remaining sheriffs and ask them for a statement. You can read more about this effort here.

How NOT To Get On The List
We used to have a list down here of lame sheriffs who are declining to defend the rights of their people, seemingly not realizing what is at stake or trusting the feds to be the only source of truth. Richard Mack has started calling this our Red Coat List. This list has now grown to include not just sheriffs and associations with cowardly stances, but also those who are openly attacking the good men and women who are standing firm. I’m proud of my Sheriff and I want to see if his name is on the list.
How is it that New Hampshire is supposed to be this mecca for Libertarians, “Live Free or Die” and only one county supports the Sheriff movement? Sounds like Live Free or Die is just a bunch of words that aren’t practiced. Pathetic.

We had a constitutional sheriff in Carroll County New Hampshire named Christopher Conley, who went to at least one of Sheriff Mack’s conferences. He has many videos posted on YouTube where he spoke out against mortgage fraud foreclosures in support of the people ~ and look what happened to him. He was replaced! I personally think all the elections are predetermined and have little or no relationship to actual voting, which is why they were able to get rid of him as soon as he opened his mouth. The bankers, who support and control the “criminal justice” system and everything else, probably didn’t like his anti-fraud messages.
On the other hand, our Hillsborough County Sheriff James Hardy received Sheriff Mack’s books and conference invitations as well as letters appointing him as trustee of our estates. And what did he choose to do with that information? He chose to be a corporate shill and to fully support banking fraud as a co-conspirator in treason and war against the people, and to send out his goon-squad SWAT teams to remove people from their homes at gun point. He’s so far away from being a constitutional sheriff like Chris Conley was that he’ll probably receive a medal of honor from the foreign occupiers who are here to destroy America.
So now it’s up to the people to start forming common law juries to take the criminals out of office. If we can’t figure out how to take back control of our lawful government, we’re probably doomed ~ especially since we have no law enforcement, no constitutional sheriffs, in support of the people here. What we have are corporate drones prepared to commit acts of genocide.

What a wonderful site and association. One of OUR greatest fears is how law enforcement will react in the event of a tyrannical maneuver, not unlike what we are beginning to see. Although my sheriff has not come on board, I applaud and salute all who have.
Suggestion: I think you should add each and every County in America to your list and have a simple “status” column for those who are “interested” or “have been contacted” or “declined”. You might have those NOT on board in red text. It’s one thing to be on a Red List and another to be a Dissenter on the Blue List.

here is a link to statements made on the subject by our Navajo Country Sheriff, KC Clark and also it cites the Apache Country Sheriff…both are from Arizona. I had written Sheriff Clark to specifically ask if he would enforce any additional federal gun control laws including any regarding confiscation, and he answered back right away stating that he and his deputies would be following their Oaths of Office to uphold the Constitution.

Yes, the number probably has grown, but we don’t have the staff to watch everywhere. That’s why we count on site visitors to report sheriffs who should be on the list, and then we check out the links you submit. Occasionally a sheriff contacts us and says he or she wants to be listed, but usually it’s someone else who submits the names.

I recently moved from a small town in central Alabama and I did notice that the sheriff there was on the good list to support our constitution.But one thing has always been puzzling and that is they started about a year ago getting all this military equipment and vehicles in stating in the local paper that they were storing these vehicles for the Goverment.Whats up with that? And I wonder how many other small towns in America are doing this.So I really have to question if the sheriff will really enforce the feds law or protect their citizens. I really don’t trust him at all considering what I have heard of this man.He could just be saying this.People say alot of things but do just the opposite..I hope he is being true..

I’m just confused as to why more sheriffs in Virginia aren’t participating, so maybe it tells me something about the people running those offices. My wife is on the local police department and she has asked if anyone knows anything about this. So I’m guessing I know where they stand, because most of the officers in her unit are democrats. So it must run all the way up the chain of command. If you know anything else I would appreciated. I see Williamsburg Sheriffs are participating and they aren’t far from where I live. Thanks!

Owning a gun is not a “God Given” right it is a responsibility. Our fore fathers knew “we the people” require the ability to defend home, family, and property if need be. Removing law abiding citizen’s guns means that those who are not law abiding have less chance of injury when committing crime. A big hurray to those who can see the wisdom in defending honest citizens right to have and bear arms!
Those brilliant men that created our Nation and Constitution created the Second Amendment so “We The People” could protect ourselves and the Nation from a future tyrannical Government. Now we have politicians that are reinventing the meaning of words, phrases, and entire text of the Constitution. Things like the meaning of, “Natural Born Citizen.” To qualify for that prestigious title both of your parents are required to be citizens of the nation; not just one.
“God Given”? Really? I’m a gun collector, shooter and will stand for my rights. Yet, where does it say we are given the right by God?
Well, how about the Declaration of Independence? “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Inherent in the gift of life which our creator granted us is the right to defend that life. This is what the founders believed, and we still believe it today.

I think I’ll stop by the Yazoo County, MS Sheriff’s Office and have a cup of coffee with my elected Law Enforcement Officer to see where he stands on this issue. A Sheriff is a unique person in that regard. An Elected LEO.

Mississippi just passed HR 2 that clarifies the MS Constitution that has always allowed citizen non-felons the right to Open Carry without the idiotic arrest based upon the fact that a holster “conceals” a portion of the firearm, therefore you are carrying concealed.

May I get a direct answer to a question?
As a Constitutional Sheriff one of the citizens of your district who is well trained, well prepared and a peaceable law abiding citizen has trouble sleeping at night so a doctor prescribes him some form of anti depressent (I know this happens because it happened to my wife but she would not take them).
Next thing you know a Federal or State Swat team is attempting to by force remove his weapons and/or arrest him.
This man considers (rightfully) that they are acting in violation of the Constitution which is in violation of law, therefore he considers them absolutely no different than any other criminal thug who might attempt to enter his home at gun point to harm him and or steal his belongings.
This man goes to war to rightfully defend himself, his family, and his property and those officers still standing call in ‘Officers Down’
Does your department immediately respond to assist the ones committing criminal acts, or to defend the one putting his life on the line to defend himself, his family and his property?
That truly is the only question that matters to the people and eliminates all the BS. Can I get a direct answer and how many of these so called constitutional Sheriffs will give that direct answer?

Sheriff Jim Casias of Trinidad, CO, Sheriff of Las Animas County should be on the list. He supports the Constution, is on the CO sheriff’s list, and has gone on Cam Edwards (NRA) program to publicly show his support.
